Description

Our Truffle Salami is totally artisanal, as it is stuffed into natural casings. A refined product for fine palates.

It is made from a medium grind of selected lean meats and has a sweet taste and irresistible aroma. With real slivers of black summer truffle (Tuber aestivum).

Well known among truffle connoisseurs, Tuber aestivum is distinguished by a number of characteristics among which the following stand out:

  • the hazel-colored flesh,
  • the warty, black-colored peridium,
  • its ripening period, which is summer (hence the name),

Produced initially for a few kilograms per week, Sorrento Truffle Salami is becoming with time a reference product in our catalog, in Italy as well as abroad.

Our Salame al Tartufo is stuffed in real natural gut, with a size of 300 grams is made from the mixture of one in our best salami ( Campagnolo): to a medium grind of selected lean meats, we have added the refinement of Truffle.
