It is made with medium-ground, selected lean meats, offering a sweet taste and an irresistible aroma. Contains real flakes of black summer truffle (Tuber aestivum).
Well-known among truffle enthusiasts, Tuber aestivum is distinguished by the following features:
- Hazel-colored flesh,
- Warty, black peridium,
- Summer ripening period (from which its name originates).
Initially produced in small quantities of just a few kilograms per week, Sorrentino’s Truffle Salami is steadily becoming a flagship product in our catalog, both in Italy and abroad.
Our Truffle Salami is stuffed in genuine natural casing. Weighing 300 grams, it is crafted from the dough of one of our finest salamis (the Campagnolo). To the medium grind of selected lean meats, we’ve added the sophistication of truffle.
